Genesis is an account of beginnings – the beginning of all that exists, the beginning of man’s struggle with God, and the beginning of God’s gracious plan of redemption. It is far more than a collection of children’s stories with lessons for moral living, for Genesis introduces us to God and to ourselves.  In an age in which man is exalted, and God is minimized or dismissed altogether, it is important to re-examine the most intensely theological book in all Scripture.  It is here, in God’s introduction of Himself to His creation, that we gain a proper perspective for our attempts to make sense of life and its purpose, form a basis for understanding the continuous theme running through the Bible, and begin to more fully appreciate our relationship to God omnipotent. There has been no time in history in which a study of this most ancient book has been more relevant than it is today. Learn more of Genesis, and we will learn more of the nature of God. Learn more of God’s nature, and we will find the peace that all men pursue. These nine lessons are presented by Danny Hale.Dr. David Lawrence presents twelve messages dealing with the various characteristics of God and using Biblical passages and examples to illustrate these various attributes. God is holy, all-powerful, all-knowing, sovereign, loving, merciful, just, faithful, good, and unchanging.  These messages are designed for those who are just beginning to come to terms with the reality of who God actually is, but should prove informative and helpful to even the more mature in the faith.
